It's been such a funny growing season this year. I have French Lavender that is blooming a second time. It is not supposed to do that...

Crazy huge potatoes harvested today. I've never seen potatoes this big! Maybe I should've got them out of the ground a few weeks ago. Murphy supervising as always.

My first ripened figs in 10 years of trying! Every time I've tried to grow figs, the leaves fall off completely midway through the summer, for some mysterious reason, or they never ripen. No idea why. 🤷🏻&zwj;♀️
They were so delicious!!

As the leaves change colour and the nights grow longer, I can't help but feel a familiar determination to prepare my hives and their residents as best I can. Another winter is approaching, and with it comes the constant worry of losing more colonies.
